Im wondering if I can write off my 2 day forklift certification when I get it and it will cost $325.
I was looking for VNA forklift training school and most run a five day course for novice drivers but none say the costs envolved. has anybody got any idea of how much it costs and where is a good place to go in the east midlands?
I am on the dole and cant get a job just want know how much it would it cost? and where could i get a grant?
Do I have to hire a certified trainer or is there a way I can train them myself?
I'm desperate for a fulltime job. I have 3 years of college, one misdemeanor 3 years ago and a spotty work record. The local school says theywill help find placement but of course they want my money :)
Need someplace that actually teaches you on a forklift, not an online course, and that will certify you as an operator.
Where do I go to learn how to operate a forklift? How about becoming a certified forklift driver?
they knew i had no training and had only driven one a couple of times in past,so said they would put e for my test etc soon,i have only been there 2 wks an on fri had an accident where i lost control of the truck and my hand was crushed ,my small finger was aputated in the accident, and i had surgery over wkend to try repair damage to other 3 fingers on my right hand, now in unsure if i can claim compensation as i didnt refuse to drive it until trained but am going to be out of work for sometime and obviously always now disfigured an minus a finger ,any advice appreciated thanks
I am thinking of taken a FLT (Forklift truck) course to get my FLC Certificate.
With information l found here at YA, l enquired and found out that l can be put on a free course by the Jobcentre, due to being unemployed (thank you to the person who answered previous questions about FLC Cert and mentioned about free places via the Jobcentre).
What l like to find out, if being 54 it that to old , and is it an easy course to do and pass. Is it easy to learn to use a Forklift, and is it a worthwhile job to take up, even at my age. Does having a hearing loss hamper you doing the course as l have recently been let down on jobs due to my hearing loss (at the moment l have never worn a hearing aid, as due to the previous job environment. l now wonder if this will be a problem if l undertaker the course)
What is the pros and con of this kind of job, and is the money good.
I am also of think of taken my Level 4 security (l live near Heathrow), to help me widen my job search, would this be an advantage with a FLC cert.
Any help in all this would be most grateful.
YA can really change your life. If you need job answers, or another advise on any matters, have recently been finding very good advice… thank to you all in advance
Bob P.... thanks for the link... some usefull infomation

where can i get info on becoming certified to train people to operate forklifts in canada? it must be a government agency but, i can't seem to find the correct site.
I'm interested in this job which on rare occasion requires you to drive a forklift. I have operated one once. I have used a manual lift all the time. Will they retrain me on the forklift? Is there anyone can give me a website on forklifts
Is there a school or someplace to learn to become certified as a forklift operator?
I am interested in becomeing a forklift operator and I was wondering what kind of pay they get and where can i find the training at in Rockford, IL?
The intermodal and warehousing industry is one of the biggest industries in Savannah with plenty of warehousing and forklift operator jobs. The local technical college doesn't list anything about forklift training on their website. Are there any companies willing to train me and hiring me also?
